My name is Lydia. I come from Taiwan and have been in New Zealand since 2003. I graduated from Waikato University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Teaching (ECE). I am an optimistic and hardworking person who very much enjoys outdoor activities and making new friends.
I love working with children and have the passion and drive to provide them with a quality education.
I value children’s individuality and believe that children should experience a stimulating and supportive environment that provides opportunity to develop and become confident and competent learners.
My name is Aurelia. I am originally from France but I have lived in New Zealand for about 11 years now. I have two lovely girls.
I started at preschool as a relief teacher about 10 years ago and as a full time teacher over six years ago. There are no boring days here! I love our preschool philosophy and am passionate about working with your children.
Kia ora, ko Taylor ahau
I am currently in my my third and final year at the University of Waikato studying a Bachelor of Teaching in Early Childhood Education and have been working at Newstead Country Preschool since 2016.
I believe in creating an inclusive environment where children’s individuality, values and beliefs are respected and diversity is acknowledged and praised. I am passionate about children creating strong links to nature and the natural environment. At Newstead Country Preschool we are lucky enough to facilitate this through an environment which leads to endless opportunities for enriching learning experiences!
NCP fits seamlessly with my developing teaching philosophy and I am eager to enhance children’s natural strengths and embrace their interests wholeheartedly.
